I have just purchased the product for normal hair and also the extract that needs to be applied twice a day. I am going to give it a try,as I do not want to take any pills such as propecia. My question if this product worked as they say it does, do you not think that everyone with hair loss would be using it. Just a thought, stay tuned I will let you know in a month what happens Sept/29/09

DO NOT USE ON AFRO HAIR- it totally killed mine and took a long time to recover.It dries out your hair so badly it like washing your hair with paintstripper

Sorry but I don’t agree with Missy. If you have good hair care practices and knowledge you can make it work.A lot of shampoos dry the hair out, that’s because in a nutshell they are soap. Just like skin, you wash it, you have to moisturise it otherwise it will remain dry.
I am a black woman with afro textured relaxed hair and am using this daily. So far, so great, in less than a month I can already see my growth coming in thick and fast.
I didn’t think it would work for me but it is.
It does dry the hair out but I don’t wash the whole length of my hair only the scalp I then moisturise my hair with Lush R&B hair moisturiser and have combatted the dryness. I use a Tangle Teezer brush and wash my hair in 8 sections whilst in twists to minimize tangles.
I use it every day or every other day. My new growth is coming in fast and soft too…something I didn’t actually think would happen.
My next relaxer will be in Jan 2011 so can’t wait to see how much my hair has grown by then.

Hi,
I’ve just recieved my 2 bottles of F.A.S.T shampoo this morning. My hair takes forever to grow after it gets just under my shoulders so need a boost before i go on a romantic holiday in July. I didn’t by the conditioner as i believe its the shampoo that does most of the work, the conditioner just makes it smooth and shiny. But i’m going to be using Tre Semme Salon Silk Conditioner with this Shampoo. I’m going to was my hair with it every 2 mornings as my hair doesnt get dirty and can usually go a week and it still doesnt look greasy.
Will post back every 1 or 2 weeks for update on growth and thickness.
Have high hopes at the moment.

I was really excited when i purchased this product in hopes to see my hair grow faster. I have been using the product less than 4 weeks so i can not truly give my opinion. But I will say this, i do feel as if it made my hair dry i have not seen any growth ( i know its still too fast ). and I question how can a shampoo be so good for your hair and the main product it has “Sodium Laureth Sulfate ” this strips your hair.

So… my hopes have died a little.
It’s been 3 weeks now washing my hair nearly everyday, minus one or two and i haven’t seen any difference. It may be slightly thicker but there’s no growth as of yet.
It also makes my hair very dry & brittle before i put conditioner on, much like straw. Its also been breaking my hair at all leangths but that could be due to my original split ends as well.
